According to an article on CVG website the developers of fallout 3 and oblivion series completed the acquisition of  id software, the developers responsible for Doom series and the upcoming multi platform game rage.
Bethesda stated that development of id software next game rage will not be affected and they will still operate under the founder of the company John Carmack "No changes will be made in the operations of id Software in the development of its games" according to the article on CVG. I think it is a good news for gamers around the world considering they (i mean bethesda studio) will not affect the development of id software next game rage.
Below is a video of rage which will be released on ps3,xbox 360,and Pc next year. Which it will use a new graphic engine that will show us what the developer is capable of doing on current generation of platforms.
